Vote Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, November 4th our country will determine a great deal about the future, not only for Greene County, but also for this great nation.  Of course as a Republican, I encourage all to vote for the Republican ticket - Presidential and local, however, it's most important that you participate in our electoral process and vote. I want to thank all those who have supported my campaign over the past year.  I greatly appreciate your confidence and faith in me.   I am committed to working hard to continue to make this county a great place to live, work and play.

I was fortunate enough to gain the endorsements of both local papers in this election, see excerpts below:

Dayton Daily News Endorsement, 9/15/2008 "Mr. Perales talks knowledgeably about Greene County issues...Mr. Baumann (Rick's opponent) is earnest, but, he doesn't have the background of community service that Mr. Perales has.  This experience matters in government when part of the job is knowing people and being familiar with public issues that are hot in particular communities and in the wider region." Greene Dailies Endorsement, 10/28/2008:  "Our county is fortunate indeed to have a commission with the unique mix of knowledge, experience and dedication that Perales possesses.  He is truly an asset to us all and has shown without a doubt that he deserves a second term.  His thorough understanding of how BRAC can benefit the region is a real plus."

Again, I thank you for the opportunity to serve and I commit to work diligently on your behalf, making the right decisions for our community.   As always, feel free to contact me if you have questions or issues you would like to bring to my attention  (rperales@co.greene.oh.us or 937-604-5637).
